For the month of March our artist in residence was London-based Italian designer and sculptor Giacomo Bevanati. Giacomo’s project, “The Glasses” invites us to be part of a proper “New Surrealist Manifesto”, examining the way in which we choose to see the world around us and creating glasses to reframe our perspectives.
“Space and time are obfuscated by wrong and superficial information; just selecting carefully what passively happens we develop our approach with things and by designing your magical glasses you can see the world in a way that you would like to see, to watch through them and to be joyful in this special time of changes. What would you like to see? Which pair of glasses would you like to wear?”
